Hubbellock HBL26419 Locking Plug

The Hubbellock HBL26419 is a non-NEMA locking plug rated for 60 A at 600V AC. It serves industrial and generator applications that require a secure, high-amperage connection in harsh environments. The plug suits facilities and contractors needing reliable line protection without standard NEMA pinouts.

60 A capacity for heavy-duty circuits

The 60 A rating handles large motor loads, welding equipment and temporary power distribution panels. It runs out on circuits exceeding 60 A or voltages above 600V AC, so larger services need a different device. The locking design prevents accidental disconnection under vibration or cable tension.

Thermals and arc safety in normal use

A super-tough nylon housing and thermoplastic interior resist heat and impact during continuous operation. Molded-in male contacts eliminate pin deformation that can raise resistance. An internal spring-loaded safety shutter provides arc protection at the connector face, while the mechanical cord grip clamps conductors for strain relief.

Questions about this item

Will the 60 A 600V AC locking plug work with my existing 60 A generator inlet?

Yes, the HBL26419 is rated for 60 A at 600V AC and uses a Non-NEMA locking configuration, so it mates with a matching 60 A 600V AC locking inlet.

How can I verify the arc protection shutter is functioning after wiring the plug?

After assembly, inspect the connector interior; the spring-loaded safety shutter should cover the contacts when no mating plug is inserted and retract smoothly when the plug is engaged.

Does the HBL26419 include the cable or cord grip hardware, or must I buy them separately?

The plug body has molded-in male contacts and integral power mechanical cord grips that clamp the cable and conductors; you only need to supply a suitable heavy-duty cable.
