14 m SILR Y adapter for dual Side Imaging

The 14 m SILR Y cable connects two Side Imaging transducers to a single sonar input on a Humminbird chartplotter. It lets the transducers operate as independent port and starboard sonar sources for clear imaging on each side of the vessel. The cable also supports Transducer ID for automatic recognition of Airmar accessory transducers. It is compatible with all SOLIX and APEX models.

Sustained operation with dual transducers

Under continuous use the splitter maintains independent port and starboard Side Imaging signals without merging the data streams. Transducer ID remains active so the control head recognises connected Airmar transducers automatically during long sessions. The cable also carries a separate high-speed 2D transducer signal alongside the Side Imaging feeds for ongoing depth performance.

Replaces single-transducer Side Imaging setups

This adapter upgrades installations where hull obstructions or vessel design prevent a single transducer from covering both sides cleanly. It is not for users who only need one Side Imaging transducer or who have no obstruction requiring a port and starboard pair. The jump is worth it when separate transducers are the only way to achieve full Side Imaging coverage.
