In-hull transducer for single-layer fibreglass hulls, glue-in installation with 15 ft cable, Dual Spectrum CHIRP 2D sonar covering 150-220 kHz with wide 140-200 kHz and narrow 180-240 kHz modes.
The Humminbird XP 14 HW transducer installs inside single-layer fiberglass hulls using a glue-in method that avoids drilling through the hull. It connects to compatible Humminbird fish finders via a 15-foot cable. Anglers who want CHIRP sonar without external hardware will find this unit purpose-built for that installation style.
Mounting the transducer inside the hull leaves the transom clear for other accessories and eliminates drag from an external bracket. The 15-foot cable routes to the display unit without requiring a through-hull penetration. Builders planning a clean transom or running multiple devices gain flexibility because no external mounting hardware is needed.
The dual-spectrum design adds a wide band of 140-200 kHz for maximum coverage and a narrow band of 180-240 kHz for maximum detail, reaching depths of 1,200 feet. Boats still using a single-frequency 50 kHz or 200 kHz transducer will see clearer target separation and better structure definition. The jump is worth it when fishing deeper water or targeting tight structure where detail matters.
