The Humminbird Helix 5 DI G2 combines a 5-inch colour TFT display with Down Imaging sonar in a single unit. It is built for anglers who need clear structure detail on kayaks, jon boats or small centre consoles. The X-Press keypad lets you adjust settings quickly without touchscreen gloves. A 480 by 800 pixel screen keeps bottom returns readable in direct sunlight.

Gimbal or In-Dash Mount with Included Transducer

The package includes an XNT 9 20 T transducer that carries a built-in water surface temperature gauge. DualBeam PLUS operates at 200 and 83 kHz for 20 and 60-degree coverage respectively. You can mount the head unit on a gimbal bracket for portable use or flush-mount it into a dash cut-out. The 4000 watt peak-to-peak output drives the transducer without an external black box.

Upgrade from Basic 2D Sonar Units

This model replaces simple 2D fishfinders that lack Down Imaging and temperature sensing. The jump is worth it when you need to distinguish brush piles, rock piles or weed edges from fish arches.
