Multi-platform 3.5 mm headset

The HUO JI X-31 is a wired gaming headset that connects through a single 3.5 mm four-pole jack. It works with Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, laptop, tablet and mobile phone without extra adapters. A splitter cable is included for devices that use separate headphone and microphone ports. The headset targets gamers and general users who want one headset for several platforms.

Over-ear build with inline controls

Over-ear cushions and a self-adjusting headband spread pressure for long sessions. The flexible omnidirectional microphone folds away when not needed. An inline controller on the cable provides volume adjustment and a microphone mute switch. RGB lighting runs along the ear cups and draws power from the 3.5 mm connection. Passive noise isolation comes from the closed ear-cup design.

Check your device ports before ordering

Verify that your console, computer or phone has a 3.5 mm four-pole (CTIA) audio jack or the matching separate headphone and microphone sockets for the supplied splitter. Devices with only USB-C, Lightning or proprietary audio ports will need an additional adapter not included in the box. The headset has no software suite, so surround effects depend on the host device audio processing.

Questions about this item

What does the 3.5 mm 4-pin jack actually carry?

The 3.5 mm 4-pole plug carries stereo audio and microphone signals in one connector; a splitter cable is included for separate headphone and mic ports on PCs.

What physical clearance does the headset need?

Over-ear cups with soft cushions and a self-adjusting headband sit around the ears; the fixed cable and in-line control module add length.

How do the RGB LEDs get power and what step is often missed?

A USB plug on the cable powers the RGB lighting; if it is left unplugged the headset still works for audio but the lights stay off.
