A 4‑foot carbon‑steel floor scraper with a stiff, reversible 4‑inch blade and foam‑rubber grip for heavy‑duty material removal
The Hyde 19440 is a heavy-duty floor scraper built for removing adhesives, coatings and other bonded materials from large surfaces. Its 52 1/2 in overall length lets a user work standing upright, reducing fatigue on commercial or residential jobs. The hammer-end handle adds a striking option for stubborn spots.
The blade measures 4 in wide, 2 1/2 in long and is made from high-carbon steel with a straight, stiff edge that resists flexing under pressure. It is reversible and can be resharpened, and the tool accepts 6 in replacement blades (part 19452) when a wider cut is needed. The included blade carries part number 19451-19452.
A foam-rubber grip runs the length of the 4 ft handle, providing comfort and control during extended scraping sessions. The hammer-end handle style allows light impact work without switching tools. This scraper is not suited for delicate finish work or confined spaces where a shorter tool is required.
