The 20W output can charge a phone from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes and provides full‑power charging for iPad and Android tablets. It also supports MagSafe and Qi2 magnetic wireless chargers up to 15W. Questions about this item

Does the 20W USB-C Power Delivery port wear out and need replacement?

The USB-C port is rated for thousands of insertion cycles and the SmartChip safety features protect against short-circuit and overcharge, so no scheduled replacement is required under normal use.

What limit appears first when the charger runs at 20W continuously?

Thermal protection inside the SmartChip will throttle output before any component reaches its temperature ceiling, making heat the first sustained-use limit.

How much heat and noise does the charger produce when powering a MagSafe pad at 15W all day?

The ultra-compact design stays warm but not hot at 15W, and with no moving parts it remains completely silent during continuous operation.
