HyperGear Dual USB Car Charger 17W

The HyperGear Hi-Power car charger delivers a total maximum output of 17W through two USB ports. It supplies 12W from one port and 5W from the other to charge two devices at once. A 3 ft MFi-certified Lightning cable is included for immediate use with compatible Apple hardware.

Practical Limits of Dual USB Charging

The charger provides a combined 17W split as 12W and 5W across its two ports. This means only one device can receive the higher 12W rate at any time. The fixed 3 ft cable length restricts placement options for the connected device inside the vehicle.

Check Your Vehicle and Devices

Verify your vehicle supplies standard 12V accessory power for the charger to operate. Ensure the devices you intend to charge use a Lightning connector, as the included cable does not support USB-C or Micro-USB. Confirm that simultaneous 12W and 5W charging meets the power needs for both your phone and a second accessory.
