Flight Audio Adapter

The HyperGear IntelliCast Flight Audio Adapter 20HRS 15858 plugs into a standard 3.5mm auxiliary port to transmit audio wirelessly. It is designed for travellers who want to use personal wireless earbuds or noise-cancelling headphones with in-flight entertainment systems instead of the supplied wired headsets.

Bundled accessories

The package includes a flexible 3.5mm aux connector that eases installation in tight seat-back jacks and a USB-C charging cable for recharging the internal battery. These items let you set up the transmitter immediately and keep it powered across multiple trips without needing separate cables.

Interface limits

The adapter relies on a 3.5mm analogue audio output, so it cannot work with seat-back screens that lack a headphone jack or use proprietary digital connectors. Battery life reaches up to 20 hours per charge, which covers most long-haul flights but requires planning for ultra-long journeys or consecutive trips without recharge access.

Dual Bluetooth support allows two headphones or earbuds to pair with the single 3.5 mm aux input simultaneously.

Does the adapter get warm or noisy when left running for a full day?
