Lightweight 275g Over-Ear Headset

The HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 519T1AA is a wired over-ear headset weighing 275 grams. It connects via a 3.5mm jack and features 50mm drivers with DTS Headphone:X spatial audio. The design includes memory foam ear pads and adjustable steel sliders for extended comfort.

Suits PC and Console Gamers

This headset works with PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices through the 3.5mm connection. Buyers who want wireless freedom or active noise cancellation should look at something else. The microphone mutes when swivelled upward and offers passive noise reduction.

32 Ohm Impedance Drives Compatibility

The 32 ohm input impedance allows the headset to reach adequate volume from standard controller and motherboard outputs without a dedicated amplifier. The 50mm drivers deliver a 28000 hertz frequency response and 97.5 decibel sensitivity. The microphone impedance is approximately 3K ohm with a matching 28000 hertz response.

Questions about this item

What 3.5 mm device do I need for the Cloud Stinger 2 519T1AA to work?

Any PC, console or mobile device with a standard 3.5 mm headset jack will drive the 32-ohm headset and its ~3 K-ohm microphone without extra hardware.

Will the 50 mm drivers and DTS Headphone:X code still benefit me if I keep an older stereo-only sound card?

Yes — the headset plays stereo natively, and the 2-year DTS Headphone:X activation code adds spatial processing on top of whatever stereo source you use.

How can I confirm the 97.5 dB sensitivity and 28 000 Hz response are performing after setup?

Play a frequency sweep; you should hear clean output up to the 28 000 Hz limit, and game audio at normal volumes will sound loud and clear at the rated 97.5 dB sensitivity.
