What it is and who it's for

The i.Sound ISOUND-6857 is a dual USB car charger rated at 2.4A total output. It includes a 4 ft micro USB cable and fits any standard DC outlet. This unit suits drivers who need to charge two USB-powered devices simultaneously while on the road.

Practical limits of the USB interface

The charger provides two standard USB ports sharing a combined 2.4A output. When both ports are in use the current splits between the connected devices so each may charge more slowly than when only one device is attached. It does not support proprietary fast-charge protocols beyond the standard USB current limit.

The specification that decides fit

The single figure that determines suitability is the 2.4A total output rating. Buyers whose devices require a higher dedicated current per port or who need a specific fast-charge standard not listed here should look for a different charger.
