IXTECH VALIANT boom arm for streaming and podcasting

The IXTECH VALIANT is a 25.5 inch desk-mounted microphone boom arm built for podcasters, streamers and remote workers who need the mic close to the mouth without a stand taking up desk space. It holds microphones up to 2.2 lb and rotates 360° so the microphone stays in position while you move. The arm swings out of the way when not in use.

Installation uses the supplied desk clamp

Clamp the base to a desk edge, attach the microphone to the threaded mount and snap the cable holder onto the arm to route the wire. The internal dual springs are pre-tensioned for the 2.2 lb limit; a heavier microphone will sag and a lighter one may ride too high. No tools are required beyond the included hardware.

The arm’s dual suspension springs are rated for a maximum load of 2.2 lb (1 kg). Check the microphone’s published weight before buying; anything heavier will not stay in position and anything significantly lighter may not tension the springs correctly. This single figure determines whether the VALIANT is the right part for your setup.
