Three-Pack 8.5" Heavy-Duty Scissors

This set contains three 8.5-inch scissors with 2.5 mm thick stainless-steel blades and comfort-grip handles. The straight blades are designed for left- or right-handed use and are supplied in assorted blue and green colourways. They are sold new as a three-pack for office, school, craft and sewing tasks.

Home, Classroom & Light Workshop Users

The scissors suit teachers, hobbyists and households that need multiple pairs for paper, card, cardboard, fabric, tape and light packaging. They are not intended for users who require specialised left-only moulded grips, industrial shear force for thick leather or metal, or a single premium pair with adjustable blade tension.

Check Blade Length & Handle Fit Before Buying

Verify that an 8.5-inch overall length matches the cutting reach you expect for your projects. Confirm the straight, symmetrical handle rings feel comfortable for the hands that will use them most. Ensure the 2.5 mm blade thickness meets the material density you plan to cut regularly.

Questions about this item

What thickness of material can the 2.5mm blades handle?

The 2.5mm hardened stainless steel blades cut through denim and up to five layers of corrugated cardboard without wearing out your hand.

Are the comfort-grip handles usable by left-handed people?

Yes, the straight-handled design with rubberised comfort-grip holes works for both left- and right-handed users.

How do I know the blades are still sharp after extended use?

The nano-coated self-lubricating technology is rated for 100,000 consecutive cuts without jamming, so clean slicing after heavy use confirms they are performing as intended.
