IBM 56K V.92 Modem for T23 Notebooks

This internal modem provides dial-up connectivity for IBM T23 series notebooks. It uses the V.92 standard for 56K data transmission. The OEM component installs directly into the compatible notebook chassis. Buyers needing broadband or wireless network capabilities will not be served by this dial-up device.

Thermals noise and power draw

The modem draws minimal power from the notebook bus during operation. It produces no audible noise because it has no moving parts. Heat output is negligible inside the system enclosure. Users requiring active cooling solutions for high-throughput hardware do not need them here.
