Power Cord Overview

This 15 ft power cord connects North American wall outlets to devices with a C13 inlet such as a PDU, monitor, printer or computer. It carries a 125 V AC rating and a 10 A current rating. The black cable weighs approximately 0.72 lb and is RoHS and WEEE compliant. A lifetime limited warranty is included.

Who This Suits

It suits anyone who needs a standard North American power lead for a single C13 device within a 15 ft reach. Buyers who require a longer run, a different plug type or multiple outlets should look at other options. The cord is rated for indoor use only.

Installation Notes

Plug the NEMA 5-15P male end into a standard wall socket and the IEC 60320 C13 female end into the device inlet. No tools or configuration are required. The only common issue is attempting to draw more than the 10 A rating or using the cord outdoors where it is not rated.

Questions about this item

What equipment do I need that already has a C13 inlet so this cord can power it?

Any device with a standard IEC 60320 C13 inlet — such as a PDU, monitor, printer, or computer — will accept the female end of this cord.

Will the NEMA 5-15P plug on this cord fit the older wall outlets I have in my North American building?

Yes, the 3-pin NEMA 5-15P male plug is the standard 125 V grounded connector used throughout North America, so it matches existing receptacles.

How can I confirm the cord is delivering power correctly once I have connected both ends?

The attached equipment should power on normally; the cord itself carries 10 A at 125 V and has no indicator lights, so device operation is the verification.
