SKU CH-W8GH-NM7WN

A 25-pack of Cat-6 RJ-45 keystone jacks supplied in resealable bags for easy identification

  • 25 jacks per pack simplify large installations
  • Category 6 performance supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds
  • 8P8C wiring handles eight conductors per connection
  • Resealable bag keeps components organised between jobs
  • Non-metallic body fits standard keystone wall plates

25-Pack Cat-6 RJ-45 Jacks

This 25-pack of Category 6 modular jacks provides 8-position 8-conductor (8P8C) connectivity for structured wiring projects. Each nonmetallic keystone jack terminates to RJ-45 and suits installers building or expanding voice and data drops. The resealable bag keeps the 25 pieces organised and prevents mixing with other connector types.

Upgrades from Cat-5e or damaged ports

Replacing older Cat-5e jacks with these Cat-6 modules raises the channel bandwidth ceiling for Gigabit Ethernet and PoE devices. The jump is worth it when new cable runs are certified to Cat-6 or when existing Cat-5e jacks show intermittent faults after re-termination. The bulk pack lowers per-port cost for multi-room or multi-floor deployments.

Verify keystone faceplate compatibility

Confirm that your wall plates, patch panels or surface-mount boxes accept standard keystone footprints before ordering. The 3/4-inch module depth fits most common openings, but proprietary snap-in systems may not latch correctly. Also check that your punch-down tool matches the jack's IDC style to ensure reliable gas-tight terminations.

Questions about this item

Will these RJ-45 keystone jacks fit standard 3/4 inch keystone wall plates and patch panels?

Yes, each jack is a 3/4 inch nonmetallic module designed to snap into standard keystone openings in wall plates, surface-mount boxes and patch panels.

What tool is required to terminate the cables on these Category 6 modular jacks, and what is the typical mistake?

A punch-down tool seats the wires into the IDC slots; the common error is using pliers or a screwdriver which can damage the contacts.

How many jacks come in one resealable bag and what does that mean for future repairs?

Each bag contains 25 jacks, so spares are on hand for future drops or replacements without opening a new pack.
