Cosmetic DLC for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam

This downloadable add-on adds exclusive personalisation items to Rising Storm 2: Vietnam on Steam. It is intended for players who already own the base game and want more visual variety for their soldiers. The pack delivers new hairstyles, headgear and face paint options. No gameplay-altering weapons or maps are included.

Content delivered through Steam activation

After purchase you receive an online code that activates the DLC in your Steam library. The base game must be present on the same account before the cosmetic items appear. Installation adds only a small data footprint alongside the existing 30 GB game files. An internet connection and a valid Steam account are required for the one-time activation.

Runs on existing hardware without extra load

The cosmetic pack uses the same Unreal Engine 3 assets as the base title, so it imposes no additional GPU or CPU demand. Minimum specifications remain an Intel Core i3 or AMD Phenom at 2.5 GHz, 4 GB RAM and a GTX 460 or Radeon HD 5850. Power draw, thermals and fan noise stay identical to the unmodified game. 32-bit operating systems are not supported.

Questions about this item

Does the DLC add any background processes that increase heat or power draw during long sessions?

The DLC is cosmetic only and adds no extra processes; the base game still runs on the listed minimum of a 2.5 GHz dual-core CPU, 4 GB RAM and a GTX 460 or Radeon HD 5850.

What must I already own and have installed before this DLC will work?

You need a Steam account and the base game Rising Storm 2: Vietnam installed on Windows 7 SP1, 8.1 or 10 64-bit with 30 GB free space.

Will the cosmetic items appear correctly if I keep playing on an older GPU like the GTX 460 or Radeon HD 5850?

Yes, those cards meet the minimum DirectX 11 requirement, so the new customisation options render without issues.
