Compact USB-C Soundbar for Desktops

The ICOREBEI S2818 is a 6-watt stereo soundbar built for desktop computers, laptops and Macs. It draws power and digital audio through a single USB-C connection with an included USB-A adapter. Bluetooth 5.3 adds wireless streaming from phones or tablets while the unit stays plugged in. The angled cabinet directs sound toward the listener without occupying much desk depth.

Build Quality and Daily Connectivity

The black enclosure measures 16.0 by 2.5 by 2.5 inches and weighs .64 kilograms, fitting neatly below most monitors. An upward tilt aims the dual full-range drivers and a 50 by 90 mm passive bass radiator at ear level for clearer dialogue and fuller low-end. A protective acoustic grille shields the drivers from dust and contact. Top-mounted push-button controls handle power, volume, source switching and RGB lighting without reaching for software.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The speaker runs on a standard 5-volt USB supply, so it adds negligible load to a computer port or wall charger. With an 80-decibel signal-to-noise ratio and a 20 KHz frequency response, background hiss stays low during quiet passages at typical desktop volumes. No active cooling is present, so operation remains silent when audio is paused. RGB effects can be disabled to reduce any minor LED power draw.

Questions about this item

Does the USB-C port carry both audio and power for this 6 W soundbar?

Yes, the USB-C connection delivers digital audio and power over a single cable, and a USB-A adapter is included for older ports.

Will the 16.1 x 3.1 x 3.1 inch angled bar sit under a standard monitor without blocking the screen?

The low 3.1-inch height and upward tilt let it tuck beneath most monitors while directing sound toward the listener.

How do I switch from PC audio to Bluetooth 5.3 on the S2818 without unplugging anything?

Press the M button on the speaker to change the active source; the unit stays powered through USB while you pair a phone or tablet.
