Radio replacement harness for 2016+ Hyundai and Kia vehicles that retains steering wheel controls, cameras and rear-seat entertainment
This iDatalink HRN-HRR-HK3 installation harness works exclusively with the Maestro ADS-MRR2 module in select 2016 and newer Hyundai and Kia vehicles. It supports both non-amplified and factory-amplified audio systems when the optional RSPDIF adapter is used. The harness enables an aftermarket receiver while keeping the vehicle's original wiring intact.
Under continuous daily use the harness maintains steering wheel audio controls, hard panel radio buttons and audio or phone data shown in the instrument cluster. Factory backup, front and side cameras stay operational provided the new receiver offers a second camera input. The Rear Seat Entertainment system and climate status display also remain functional.
The harness supplies parking brake, reverse and Vehicle Speed Sensor outputs directly to the aftermarket radio for navigation features. Engine and vehicle performance data can be shown on the touchscreen through the Maestro RR2 connection. No additional interface boxes are required for these retained functions.

The ADS-MRR2 module is a low-current data interface that produces no measurable heat and draws negligible power from the vehicle's electrical system during all-day use.
The receiver must support a second camera input to retain the factory front and side cameras, while the backup camera works with standard rear-view camera inputs on compatible head units.
Yes, it supports amplified systems when the optional RSPDIF adapter is added; without it, the harness retains steering wheel controls, cameras and cluster data but bypasses the factory amplifier.
