Installation Requirements and Common Issues

Installation requires the separate Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module, which is included in this bundle. Optional head unit adapters are available for Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, and Pioneer radios to complete the connection. A frequent oversight is forgetting to flash the module with the correct vehicle firmware before wiring it into the dash. Without the proper flash, steering wheel controls and data features will not function.
