Radio-replacement harness with ADS-MRR2 module for select 2012-2021 Subaru, Scion and Toyota vehicles, retaining steering-wheel controls, factory amp, cameras and vehicle data display
The iDatalink HRN-HRR-SU2 is a vehicle-specific installation harness designed for select Subaru models from 2012 to 2021. It enables a clean aftermarket receiver upgrade by connecting directly to the factory wiring without splicing. The harness requires a separate Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module to function and supports integration with iDatalink Head-unit Direct harnesses for simplified installation.
This harness preserves the vehicle's steering wheel audio controls, factory amplifier, and subwoofer when replacing the original radio. It also maintains the factory Starlink system, secondary display, and factory cameras where equipped, though front or side cameras require a second video input on the new receiver. Vehicle settings, gauges, and data are displayed on the aftermarket touchscreen via the connected Maestro module.
The HRN-HRR-SU2 replaces the original equipment radio connector to facilitate an aftermarket head unit installation while retaining key vehicle integration features. It provides dedicated parking brake, reverse signal, and speed sense outputs required by navigation-capable receivers. The jump is worthwhile for owners of compatible 2012-2021 Subaru vehicles who want modern head unit features without losing factory steering wheel controls, amplifier integration, or vehicle data display.

Choose the bundle; the harness requires a Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module to function, and the ADS-MRR2 is included in this package.
You keep using the factory steering wheel buttons for volume, track and source changes, and the aftermarket touchscreen shows vehicle settings, gauges and data such as fuel economy or tyre pressure.
The module links to the aftermarket receiver through iDatalink's vehicle-specific data connection, enabling all retained features — steering wheel controls, factory amp, subwoofer, cameras and vehicle data display — without splicing into the car's wiring.
