Wiring harness adapter lets you install an iDatalink-ready receiver in 2018-up Ford trucks while retaining steering wheel controls, factory amp, backup camera, SYNC and Bluetooth
The iDatalink HRN-RR-FO3 is a T-harness wiring adapter that lets you install an iDatalink-ready aftermarket receiver in compatible Ford trucks from 2018 onward. It connects to the factory radio plug without cutting or splicing the vehicle loom. The harness also requires a separate Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module to complete the integration.
This adapter preserves steering wheel audio controls, the factory amplifier, backup camera, SYNC functions and Bluetooth operation. It also supplies navigation, accessory power and illumination outputs to the new receiver. Buyers whose trucks lack the specific factory connector used from 2018 onward, or who plan to keep the original radio, have no use for this harness.
The single specification that decides fitment is the mandatory Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 interface module; the HRN-RR-FO3 cannot operate without it. Confirm your truck matches the 2018-up connector style before purchasing.
