Precision wire stripping range

The Ideal 45-639 Stripmaster handles solid wire from 26 to 20 AWG and stranded wire from 16 to 30 AWG. Its automatic adjustment feature adapts to each cable size without manual re-setting. The 5-1/2 inch overall length keeps the tool compact for tight panels. A cushion grip handle provides a secure hold during repetitive use.

Automatic size adjustment mechanism

The stripper self-adjusts for both solid and stranded conductors across the stated gauge range. This single action removes insulation cleanly without nicking the conductor. No separate dies or manual calibration are required for the supported sizes. The mechanism engages automatically when the handles are squeezed.

Capacity covers common signal and control wiring

Comfortably strips the gauges found in low-voltage control circuits, data cables and instrument wiring. Solid wires up to 20 AWG and stranded wires down to 16 AWG are within the design range. The tool is not suited for heavier power conductors or cables outside the 16–30 AWG stranded and 26–20 AWG solid specifications.
