Purpose and audience

The IdeaStream Vaultz VZ01002 is a portable cash box built for retailers, event organisers and mobile vendors who need a simple way to secure and transport daily takings. It suits businesses that handle mixed cash, receipts and tickets but do not require an electronic drawer or integrated POS peripheral.

Thermals noise and power

The unit has no fan, motor or power supply, so it runs silently and draws no electricity in normal use. Its wooden core and diamond-embossed PVC laminate exterior stay at ambient temperature, while rubber feet prevent vibration or skidding on counter surfaces.

Security mechanism

A three-dial combination lock provides keyless entry, and a side keyhole accepts a double-loop tether such as the VZ00595 model for cable anchoring. Buyers who need audit-trail logging, electronic time-delay release or dual-custody key overrides will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

How do I set the combination lock on the VZ01002 cash box?

The box ships on a factory default code; turn the dials to your chosen three-digit sequence while the shackle is open, then scramble the dials to lock it — skipping the scramble step is the most common error.

What part of the VZ01002 will need replacement first with daily use?

The plastic insert tray that organizes bills and coins is the wear item; it can be swapped out without tools when the compartments crack or the hinge fatigues.

Which limit appears first when the VZ01002 is carried fully loaded all day?

The smooth chrome handle transmits the full weight to your hand, so grip fatigue arrives before the combination mechanism or rubber feet show any degradation.
