White Outdoor Solar Camera

The ieGeek F1 is a wireless outdoor security camera that draws power from a solar panel. It captures 2K 3MP footage at 2304 by 1296 resolution and uses a 3.6mm lens with a 130 degree viewing angle. Color night vision reaches up to 33ft and the unit includes a spotlight and siren for active deterrence. The camera connects via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi with WPA3-PSK and AES-128 encryption and works with Alexa for voice control.

Buyers who want flexible placement without wiring

This camera suits homeowners who want a wire-free installation and only have access to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The solar power design removes the need for mains cabling and the AI motion detection reduces unwanted alerts. Buyers who need 5GHz Wi-Fi compatibility should look at a different model. The private interface protocol also means the camera may not integrate with third-party NVRs or standard ONVIF platforms.

2.4GHz Wi-Fi only connectivity

The single specification that decides fit is the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi requirement. If the installation site only offers a 5GHz network the camera will not connect. All other features including the 25fps H.264 stream, 15M night vision range and built-in microphone and speaker depend on that wireless link.
