Universal 2.5" SATA Enclosure

This transparent enclosure converts any 2.5-inch SATA hard drive or SSD into a portable USB 3.0 storage device. It accepts drive heights of 7 mm and 9.5 mm and works with Windows, Linux and Mac OS 8.0 or later. The tool-free design lets you install or remove a drive in seconds without screws.

Upgrade from Internal-Only Drives

An internal SATA drive that sits unused in a laptop or desktop becomes an external backup or transfer drive the moment it slides into this case. The jump is worth it when you need to move large folders between a PC, TV, PS4, Xbox or router without opening a chassis. Drives thicker than 9.5 mm or 3.5-inch form factors cannot fit.

Up to 2 TB Capacity Headroom

The enclosure supports single SATA drives up to 2 TB, providing ample space for media libraries, system images or extended game storage. USB 3.0 delivers a 5 Gbps link with UASP acceleration for faster sequential transfers, while the connection remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 ports. Larger drives or multi-bay RAID configurations are beyond the single-bay limit.
