Controls two DisplayPort computers with one keyboard, mouse and 4K 60 Hz monitor, includes 1.5 m wired remote and four USB 2.0 ports
This IHDAPP KVM switch lets you operate two DisplayPort computers from one keyboard, one mouse and a single 4K monitor. Four USB 2.0 ports allow shared access to printers, scanners, webcams or flash drives. A metal housing protects the internal circuitry while a 1.5 m wired remote keeps the main unit hidden under the desk.
Home-office workers and small-business users who switch between two laptops or desktops will appreciate the plug-and-play simplicity and LED status light. The switch only supports one external display, so anyone needing dual-monitor output or more than two connected hosts should consider a different solution.
The unit passes 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma and 18 Gbps bandwidth, and falls back to 1080p, 720p, 480p and lower timings. DisplayPort 1.4 cables are required to achieve the top resolution; the switch draws power from the USB links and includes only two USB cables in the box.

Yes, the switch is backwards compatible with 1080p, 720p, 576p, 480p and interlaced variants, so legacy displays work without issue.
