Dual PC dual monitor control

The IHDAPP 202DH KVM switch lets you operate two computers with one keyboard, one mouse and two displays. Each computer connects through one HDMI and one DisplayPort input plus a USB 3.0 link. The unit supports extended desktop or mirrored output across both screens. It is aimed at users who need to share peripherals and monitors between a pair of workstations or a laptop and a desktop.

Steady 4K 60 Hz and high refresh 2K

Video passes through at up to 4K 60 Hz over both HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 paths. The switch also handles 2K 120 Hz and 1440p 144 Hz signals without frame drops during prolonged sessions. Because the device draws power from the USB cables, sustained operation stays stable as long as the host ports supply adequate current. No external adapter is needed unless a high-power USB device such as a hard drive is attached.

Plug and play with cabling constraints

Installation is driver-free on Windows, macOS and Linux; switching is done by front button or the wired remote. Each PC requires its own HDMI, DisplayPort and USB cable trio — cables cannot be cross-connected because the USB links carry both power and data. The box includes one HDMI cable, one DisplayPort cable, two USB 3.0 cables, the remote and a power cable for optional use. Users with USB-C only laptops must add a multi-stream docking station.

Questions about this item

Does the 202DH KVM switch need an external power supply when running all day?

It draws power from the two USB 3.0 cables connected to the computers, so no separate adapter is required unless you attach a high-power device such as an HDD or SSD.

Which cables must I already have to connect each computer to the 202DH?

Each PC needs one HDMI cable, one DisplayPort cable and one USB 3.0 cable; the box includes one of each, so a second set is required for the second computer.

Can I keep using my older 1440P monitors with this KVM switch?

Yes, the switch supports 1440P at 60 Hz and lower resolutions, so existing 1440P displays will work without changes.
