Four-computer HDMI KVM switch

The IHDAPP 8401A lets a single HDMI monitor, keyboard and mouse control up to four computers or laptops. It accepts four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output, with front-panel push buttons and a 1.5-metre wired remote for source selection. LED indicators show the active port at a glance.

Bundled cables and power adapter

Four USB 3.0 cables and a DC 12V power adapter are included so every connected system receives both video and USB data links immediately. The switch provides four downstream USB 3.0 ports running at 5Gbps for peripherals such as printers or cameras, while remaining compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices.

HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and switching delay

The unit passes 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 144Hz, 120Hz and 60Hz with YUV 4:4:4 colour, plus 1080p at 165Hz, and is backward compatible with lower resolutions. Using USB-C-to-HDMI or DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapters will reduce the achievable resolution, and each source change incurs an approximate 8-second delay.
