This IHDAPP 8401B switch lets four HDMI 2.1 computers share one monitor, keyboard and mouse. It is built for offices, teaching rooms, monitoring setups and home theatres where desk space is limited. Each computer connects with one HDMI and one USB 3.0 cable. No driver installation is required on Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS or Unix systems.

Passive thermals and 12 V DC power

The unit ships with a 12 V DC adapter and runs without active cooling. In normal switching use it draws only the power needed for signal processing and the four USB 3.0 ports. LED indicators show the active port without adding audible noise. The compact 7.5 x 3 x 2 inch enclosure stays cool during typical desktop workloads.

Sustained 8K 60 Hz and 5 Gbps throughput

Under continuous operation the switch maintains 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz or 120 Hz, and YUV 4:4:4 colour. The four USB 3.0 ports sustain 5 Gbps data rates for drives, cameras or peripherals. Switching between sources takes roughly eight seconds whether using the front button or the 1.5 m wired remote.
