Dual-computer dual-monitor KVM

This KVM switch lets two computers share two monitors and four USB 3.0 peripherals. It supports both extended and mirror display modes so each screen can show different content or the same image. The unit is driver-free on Windows, Mac OS, Linux and Chrome OS and works with PCs, laptops, consoles and TV boxes.

Thermals noise power

The device draws power from the included 12 V adapter and needs no extra supply, so it adds negligible heat or fan noise to a desk setup. LED indicators show the active computer without audible switching clicks. Power consumption stays low during typical keyboard, mouse and printer traffic over the USB 3.0 hub.

Bundled cables remote adapter

Two 1.5 m USB 3.0 cables, a 1.5 m wired remote and the 12 V power adapter are included so the switch works out of the box. The remote lets users toggle computers from a comfortable distance while the cables handle video, USB data and peripheral power. A user manual completes the package for quick setup.

Questions about this item

How do I connect both computers so the two monitors and four USB 3.0 devices work?

Each computer needs one HDMI 2.1 cable, one DisplayPort 1.4 cable, and one USB 3.0 cable plugged into the KVM; then attach the two monitors to the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs and your keyboard, mouse, printer or other peripherals to the four USB 3.0 ports on the front.

What cables or adapters will I need to replace if I want to keep running at 4K@144Hz?

You must use HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 rated cables (or certified USB-C to HDMI/DP adapters) between each computer and the switch, and between the switch and each monitor; older cables will drop the link to lower resolutions.

At what point does the USB 3.0 hub hit its throughput ceiling when I am moving large files?

The four USB 3.0 ports share a single 5 Gbps upstream link, so sustained transfers from multiple drives or a fast SSD will saturate at that 5 Gbps limit before the video path does.
