Dual-computer DisplayPort KVM

This DisplayPort 1.4 KVM switch lets two computers share one dual-monitor setup plus four USB 3.0 peripherals. It targets users who need to toggle between a workstation and a laptop or between two desktops without unplugging cables. Push-button and wired remote switching change the active host in two to five seconds. LED indicators show which computer is currently selected.

8K 60 Hz video headroom

The switch passes 7680 × 4320 at 60 Hz and is backward compatible with 4K at 120 Hz or 144 Hz. Bandwidth is sufficient for high-refresh gaming or colour-critical work on both connected displays. USB 3.0 peripheral ports deliver full 5 Gbps speed only when each host connects through a native USB 3.0 Type-A port; older USB ports will fall back to lower rates. Wireless keyboard and mouse dongles work within one metre for a single device or 0.3 metre for multiple devices.

DisplayPort 1.4 and USB 3.0 limits

The unit requires each computer to provide a DisplayPort output and a USB 3.0 Type-A port for full performance. It does not support hosts that offer only USB-C without a Type-A adapter, nor does it function behind a docking station. Power is drawn from the USB connection so no external adapter is needed. Switching is manual only; there is no hot-key or automatic port detection.
