Two-computer dual-monitor KVM

The IHDAPP DP202E-USB3.0-8K lets two computers share two DisplayPort monitors, four USB devices, an audio microphone output and SD/TF card slots. Each computer must provide two DisplayPort outputs for the switch to function as intended. It suits home offices and professional desks that need simultaneous multi-display access across two systems.

Push-button and wired remote switching

Select the active computer with front-panel push buttons or the included wired remote controller. LED indicators show which system is currently connected. Installation requires a 12 V DC power adapter, two DisplayPort cables per computer plus one USB 3.0 Type-A to Type-B cable per computer; the package supplies two USB 3.0 cables and the remote. Using conversion cables may reduce stability.

8K60 and 4K120 via DP 1.4

The switch supports DisplayPort 1.4 with a maximum resolution of 8K at 60 Hz and is downward compatible with DP 1.2. Dual-monitor output reaches 4K at 120 Hz for high-refresh workflows. USB 3.0 ports deliver up to 5 Gbps while USB 2.0 ports run at 480 Mbps. Extended, mirrored and spliced display modes depend on the connected graphics cards.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the IHDAPP DP202E-USB3.0-8K is delivering 8K@60Hz after setup?

Check that both monitors show 8K resolution at 60 Hz in your OS display settings and that the LED indicators on the switch light for the active PC; the unit supports DP 1.4 for 8K@60Hz and is backward compatible with DP 1.2.

What cables and accessories come in the box versus what I must buy separately?

The package includes the KVM switch, two USB 3.0 cables, a wired remote, a 12V/1A power adapter and a user manual; you must supply four DisplayPort cables (two per computer) for the dual-monitor inputs and outputs.

Which version should I choose if my computers only have one DisplayPort each?

This DP202E-USB3.0-8K model requires each computer to have two DisplayPort outputs for dual-monitor operation; if your systems only have one DP port, this switch will not support the intended two-monitor setup.
