This IHDAPP KVM switch lets one keyboard, mouse and four USB 3.0 peripherals control two computers across two HDMI monitors. It supports duplicate and extended display modes so each PC can drive both screens independently. The unit requires no external power supply and includes a wired remote for desk-side switching. Compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux and Unix systems.

HDMI 2.0 bandwidth and USB 3.0 limits

Video runs over HDMI 2.0, capping output at 4K@60Hz, 2K@120Hz or 1K@144Hz. USB peripherals share a 5 Gbps bus, so high-throughput devices such as external SSDs will not reach their peak speed. Hot-key switching is not supported; only the front push button or the wired remote change the active computer. Wireless Bluetooth keyboards and mice are not supported.

Each computer needs two HDMI outputs

Dual-monitor operation only works when both connected PCs provide two HDMI ports each. A laptop or desktop with a single HDMI output cannot drive the extended or duplicate modes this switch offers.
