Two-Computer USB-C KVM Switch

This USB-C KVM switch lets two laptops, tablets or consoles share a single USB-C monitor. It requires no driver installation and draws power from an included DC 5 V supply. An aluminium housing provides shielding and a built-in ESD protection system. The 1.5 m wired remote and front-panel button both change the active source instantly.

Replaces Manual Cable Swapping

Instead of unplugging and reconnecting a display cable each time you change machines, this switch handles the transition with a button press or the remote. The jump is worth it when you move between two USB-C Alt DP sources several times a day and want the monitor to stay connected. It does not suit setups that need more than two computers or that rely on legacy video ports without an adapter.

Limits of USB-C Alt DP and 20 Gbps Bandwidth

Video output tops out at 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz, and actual resolution depends on the host, cable and display capabilities. Data throughput is capped at 20 Gbps under the USB 3.1 Gen 2 protocol, so high-speed peripherals share that ceiling. Power delivery reaches 100 W for charging the active laptop, but the switch itself must remain powered or the monitor will show no image.
