4-Port Triple-Monitor KVM Switch

This IHDAPP KVM switch lets four computers share one keyboard, one mouse and three displays — two HDMI and one DisplayPort. It targets users who need simultaneous multi-monitor access across several systems without re-plugging cables. The unit draws power from the included adapter and requires no extra supply. Compatibility spans Windows, Linux, macOS and other major operating systems.

Bundled Cables, Remote and USB 3.0 Hub

The package supplies four USB 3.0 cables, a wired remote button and a power adapter so every host can be connected immediately. Three USB 3.0 ports on the switch add a shared hub for keyboards, mice, printers or storage at up to 5Gbps versus 480Mbps on USB 2.0. An audio microphone output is also provided for headset switching alongside the video channels.

HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 Limits

HDMI ports support up to 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 60Hz or 2K at 60Hz. The DisplayPort input reaches 8K at 30Hz or 4K at 144Hz. All outputs are backward compatible with lower resolutions. Extended, mirrored or spliced multi-monitor modes depend entirely on the host graphics card, so single-display GPUs cannot drive three screens.

Questions about this item

Will the wired remote switch or front-panel buttons wear out and need replacement?

Both switching methods are mechanical controls with no user-serviceable parts listed; the unit ships with one wired remote and the front buttons are built into the chassis.

What resolution limit appears first when all three monitors run at high refresh rates for hours?

DisplayPort output caps at 4K@144Hz or 8K@30Hz, while each HDMI output caps at 4K@60Hz, so the DP 1.4 link reaches its bandwidth ceiling before the HDMI 2.1 links.

How hot or loud does the KVM get when powering three 8K displays and four computers all day?

The switch draws power from the included adapter and has no fan; it runs silently and stays at ambient temperature because it only routes signals without active processing.
