Touchless Forehead Thermometer

The iHealth PT2L measures temperature from up to 1.18 inches away using two ultra-sensitive sensors that capture over 100 data points per second. It delivers a reading in one second, making it suitable for quick checks on adults, children and infants without physical contact.

Silent Mode and Battery Life

A silent mode disables the beep for peaceful nighttime use, particularly helpful when measuring a sleeping child. The unit weighs 68 g and runs on two included AAA batteries, providing up to 3000 measurements before replacement is needed.

Color-Coded Display and Portability

A large LCD shows green, orange or red backlighting to indicate normal, elevated or high temperature at a glance. The compact, lightweight design fits easily in a bag for travel, and the package includes a quick start guide and instruction manual for immediate setup.

Questions about this item

How do I switch the iHealth PT2L between Celsius and Fahrenheit on the LCD?

Press and hold the button until the °C/°F symbol appears, click to choose the desired unit, then press and hold for two seconds to confirm the selection.

What maintenance will the thermometer need after extended use?

Replace the two AAA batteries after roughly 3,000 measurements; the device itself has no other user-serviceable parts.

At what distance does the no-touch sensor stop giving reliable readings?

The ultra-sensitive sensors are calibrated for accurate capture within 1.18 inches of the forehead; moving farther away reduces reliability first.
