Limited Gundam Collaboration

The iKBC ZAKU 108 is a wired mechanical gaming keyboard produced in a limited collaboration with the Gundam franchise. It uses genuine Cherry MX Brown tactile switches and features a full 108-key layout in a distinctive Vintage Red colourway. The board is aimed at enthusiasts who want a collectible design without sacrificing standard mechanical performance.

Build and Connectivity

A detachable USB cable measuring 1.5 metres connects the keyboard to the host system. The chassis measures 443 by 137 by 42 millimetres and weighs 1.25 kilograms, giving it a substantial feel on the desk. An ergonomic profile and dedicated multimedia shortcuts support extended typing and gaming sessions, while N-key rollover ensures every simultaneous press is registered.

Thermals and Power

As a passive USB wired input device, the keyboard draws minimal power directly from the host port and generates no measurable heat during normal use. There are no active cooling components, so operation is completely silent aside from the audible tactile bump of the Cherry MX Brown switches. Power consumption remains negligible regardless of lighting or key-press intensity.

Questions about this item

What does the USB wired interface mean for polling rate and latency in practice?

The USB wired connection delivers stable, low-latency input with full N-key rollover; no wireless interference or battery constraints affect performance.

Will the 443×137×42 mm case and 1.5 m cable fit my desk and reach the PC?

The keyboard measures 443 mm wide, 137 mm deep and 42 mm high; the fixed 1.5 m cable reaches most tower positions without an extension.

How do I install it and what step do people often miss?

Plug the USB connector into a free port — drivers load automatically; the common mistake is forgetting to enable N-key rollover in the OS or BIOS for full anti-ghosting.
