What it is and who it is for

The iLive AFFLAT GVSHW-01 is a cordless, rechargeable massager that combines scraping, heat and vibration for deep-tissue relief. It suits anyone looking for a portable tool to address muscle tension and fascial adhesions on the body or face.

How it fits into a routine

The compact plastic body measures 1.1 by 2.6 by 3.7 inches and weighs 0.15 pounds, so it slips into a bag and needs no outlet during use. A built-in 10-minute auto shut-off protects the battery and adds safety for daily sessions.

Capacity and headroom

Nine independent intensity levels for both heat and vibration let you match the sensation to each muscle group. Four light modes — red, purple, white and colour — cover soothing, gua sha, lifting and full-function options. The 1 watt-hour battery will limit continuous run time before a recharge is needed.

Questions about this item

How long does the automatic shut-off allow the massager to run continuously?

The built-in safety timer stops the device after 10 minutes of continuous operation to protect the battery and prevent overheating

Does the unit become hot or noisy during a full 10-minute session?

It operates at only 1 watt-hour, so heat and fan noise stay minimal even when heat and vibration run at the highest of the 9 intensity levels

What must I have charged before the first use?

The massager is cordless and rechargeable, so the internal battery needs a full charge before you can use any of the four light-therapy modes
