2.5" to 3.5" Drive Bay Adapter

This metal bracket lets you install a single 2.5" SSD or hard drive into a standard 3.5" drive bay. It is designed for builders upgrading a desktop or server chassis that only offers larger bays. The kit includes the tray and mounting hardware for a secure fit.

Bay Compatibility and Limits

The adapter works with any drive bay that accepts side-mounted 3.5" devices using standard screw holes. It does not support cases or cages that require bottom-mount installation. Buyers needing to install multiple drives or fit a 3.5" drive into a 2.5" slot will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

Will this tray fit a standard 3.5" desktop drive bay?

The bracket is built to mount one 2.5" SSD or HDD into a 3.5" bay, so it matches the standard desktop opening.

How can I confirm the drive is seated correctly after installation?

The metal tray holds the 2.5" drive firmly in the 3.5" frame; if the screws align and the drive does not shift, the mount is secure.
