  • 95 % spiral-wound shielding blocks EMI and RFI interference
  • Fully moulded colour-coded plugs simplify correct installation

25ft Triple RCA Audio/Video Cable

This 25 foot cable carries composite video plus stereo audio through three male RCA connectors on each end. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain conductivity for home-theatre components such as DVD players, VCRs and older televisions. Colour-coded moulded plugs simplify correct channel identification during installation.

Replaces Shorter or Unshielded RCA Leads

Upgrading to this length is worthwhile when source and display are separated by more than a few metres or when existing cables show signal noise. The 95 percent spiral-wound shield and RG59 video conductor suppress EMI and RFI interference that degrades picture and sound quality. It is not suited for runs exceeding the supplied length or for digital multi-channel audio formats.

Analogue Composite Bandwidth Limits

The interface is restricted to standard-definition composite video and two-channel analogue audio. No high-definition or digital surround signals can pass through these connectors. Buyers needing component, HDMI or optical digital connections must choose a different cable type.

Questions about this item

What length and connector count does this 25 ft cable have for component video and stereo audio?

The cable is 25 ft long and carries three male RCA connectors on each end — one for composite video and two for left and right audio channels.

How do I match the colour-coded plugs to the correct ports on my DVD player and TV?

Connect the yellow plug to the composite video jack, the red plug to the right audio jack and the white plug to the left audio jack on both devices.

Will the gold-plated contacts or the 95 % spiral-wound shielding need any periodic cleaning or replacement?

No scheduled maintenance is required; the gold plating resists oxidation and the shielding is fixed inside the jacket, so the cable lasts for the life of the installation.
