Dual gang brush wall plate

The iMBAPrice black dual gang Decora brush wall plate is a two-gang unloaded wall plate with brush bristles that fits standard decorator openings. It allows cables such as VGA, HDMI and Cat5e/6 to pass cleanly through the wall for a tidy home theatre installation. Screws and a user manual are included. This accessory suits installers who want a professional finish for in-wall cable runs.

Simple decorator opening install

Installation is straightforward because the plate fits any standard decorator opening and mounts with the supplied screws. The large aperture accommodates common AV and data connectors without modification. The only common issue is aligning the brush insert so bristles do not catch stiff cable jackets during pulling. No specialised tools are required beyond a screwdriver.

Home theatre and AV cable management

This plate suits anyone running HDMI, VGA or Ethernet cables through a wall for a TV or projector setup where a clean exit point is needed. It is not intended for buyers who need an electrical outlet, a keystone jack panel or a single-gang form factor. Builders requiring UL-listed fire-rated penetrations should look at a different product class.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the brush wall plate is installed correctly?

After mounting, cables such as HDMI or Cat6 should pass through the bristles smoothly without snagging, and the plate should sit flush against the wall with no visible gaps.

What comes in the package and what must I supply?

The box contains the black dual gang brush wall plate and mounting screws; you will need to provide the low-voltage cables (HDMI, VGA, Cat5e/6, etc.) and a screwdriver for installation.

Which version should I choose for a standard two-gang decorator opening?

Select the 2-gang black model listed, as it is designed to fit any standard decorator-style dual gang cut-out and includes the brush insert.
