Questions about this item

Does the adapter draw noticeable power from the Note 3 battery when a USB 3.0 flash drive is attached all day?

The adapter passes power from the phone to the connected device, so a high-draw USB 3.0 drive will reduce battery life faster than a low-draw keyboard.

What must I already own to use this OTG dongle with my Galaxy Note 3 N9000?

You need a USB 3.0 or 2.0 flash drive, card reader or keyboard formatted in FAT32; the Note 3 cannot read other file systems.

Will a standard USB 2.0 keyboard work through this dongle on my older Note 3 without extra drivers?

Yes, a standard USB 2.0 keyboard connects directly and functions immediately on the Note 3 N9000.
