Professional Cleaning Tool

The Impact Products Speed Change mop handle measures 61.25 inches in length with a one-inch diameter fiberglass shaft. Its blue and black colour coding suits professional janitorial teams and facility managers who need a durable, lightweight handle for daily wet-mopping tasks.

Thermals Noise Power

Fiberglass construction eliminates the risk of rust or corrosion when the handle is left in wet buckets or stored in damp closets. The material does not conduct heat or cold, so the grip remains comfortable during extended use in varying indoor temperatures.

Quick-Change Compatibility

The Speed Change mechanism accepts standard wet-mop heads without tools, allowing staff to swap heads in seconds between rooms. Buyers who require a threaded or clamp-style attachment will need a different handle design.

Questions about this item

How do I attach a mop head to the 1" diameter fiberglass handle without stripping the threads?

Align the mop head's connector squarely with the handle end, then twist clockwise by hand until snug; over-tightening with tools can damage the fiberglass threads.

When should I replace the 61.25" fiberglass handle if it shows surface splintering?

Replace the handle once splinters appear, as fiberglass cannot be sanded smooth and splinters indicate structural weakening.

How much deflection can I expect from the 1" diameter fiberglass handle when pressing down on a heavily soaked mop?

The 1" fiberglass shaft flexes noticeably under heavy downward force, so apply steady pressure rather than leaning your full weight.
