Industrial Mini PC

The Inctel I26-i7 4500U-8G512G is a fanless mini desktop built for continuous industrial operation. It runs on an Intel Core i7-4500U dual-core processor with a base frequency of 1.80 GHz and a maximum turbo of 3.00 GHz. The system includes 8 GB of DDR3L memory and a 512 GB mSATA SSD, with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. Its aluminium chassis supports 7×24 hour duty cycles without active cooling.

Connectivity-Focused Deployments

This unit suits integrators who need extensive legacy I/O, including six COM ports with RS232, RS422 and RS485 switching, eight-bit GPIO, dual Intel LAN and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. It also provides four USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports, plus VGA and HDMI video outputs. It is not for buyers who require modern CPU performance, discrete graphics, memory beyond the single 8 GB SO-DIMM limit, or internal 2.5-inch drive bays that are not populated.

Single SO-DIMM Slot

The motherboard offers one DDR3L SO-DIMM socket with a maximum capacity of 8 GB at 1333 or 1600 MT/s. This fixed ceiling determines whether the platform can meet your application's memory requirements.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a monitor or any cables separately?

The unit includes the mini PC with Windows 10 Pro installed, a power adapter and mounting ears; a monitor, keyboard, mouse and display cables are not supplied.

Should I choose the Core i7-4500U or the i5-4200U version for this I26 model?

The i7-4500U runs at 1.8 GHz base and 3.0 GHz turbo with 4 MB cache; the i5-4200U runs at 1.6 GHz base and 2.6 GHz turbo with 3 MB cache — pick the i7 for higher burst speed.

What does the 1.8 GHz base clock mean for everyday performance once the PC is running?

The dual-core, four-thread processor handles office apps, light industrial software and 4K video playback smoothly; sustained loads are limited by the 15 W TDP and passive cooling.
