What it is and who it is for

This INEDARAT 45W AC adapter supplies 19.5V at 2.31A through a blue tip barrel connector. It suits owners of compatible HP Pavilion, Notebook, Stream, Spectre x360, EliteBook and Chromebook models that require this specific plug type.

The specification that decides fit

The charger delivers 45W maximum output with an AC input range of 100-240V at 50-60Hz. Only laptops fitted with a 4.5mm by 3.0mm blue tip power connector will accept this adapter.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The unit operates from a standard wall outlet with no internal fan, so it runs silently. Normal use draws up to 45W from the mains, and the ETL listing confirms it meets recognised safety standards.

Questions about this item

What does the 45 W rating mean once the adapter is powering my laptop?

The 45 W rating is the maximum continuous power the adapter can deliver at 19.5 V and 2.31 A, so your laptop will draw up to that level while charging and running.

What connector standard does the blue tip use and what does it limit?

The blue tip is a 4.5 mm × 3.0 mm barrel connector that only fits HP laptops designed for that specific tip size and polarity.

What physical space and mounting does the adapter need?

The adapter is a corded brick with a standard two-pin North American plug, so it needs a wall outlet or power strip and enough desk or floor space for the brick itself.
