6-Inch 12-Pack LED Downlight Kit

The Infibrite IB-002-2-12W-WH-12PK delivers twelve 6-inch recessed modules that produce 1050 lumens each at 2700K soft white. Designed for homeowners and contractors finishing multiple rooms, the kit includes integrated junction boxes and spring clips for direct ceiling mounting. IC-rated construction permits direct contact with insulation.

Sustained Output With 2-Inch Clearance

Each 12-watt module maintains 1050-lumen brightness within ceilings offering only 2 inches of plenum space. The aluminium housing dissipates heat continuously without fan noise, while the wet-rated seal protects the driver from moisture in bathrooms, kitchens or soffits. Energy Star certification confirms 88-percent energy savings versus a 75-watt incandescent equivalent.

Verify 120-V Supply And Dimming Compatibility

Confirm the circuit provides 120 volts and that any wall dimmer supports smooth 5-to-100-percent LED dimming without flicker. The 1.5-pound unit fits cut-outs between 5 and 8 inches wide; measure existing openings before cutting. Ensure local code accepts the supplied UL-listed connectors for the intended location.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 12W LED produce when it runs all day?

The 12W draw keeps heat low; the 1" thin aluminium housing is designed for quick heat dissipation and the IC-rated construction allows direct contact with insulation.

Do I need a separate junction box or transformer for the 120V connection?

Each kit includes its own ultra-thin junction box that clicks onto the 120V supply wires; no separate transformer or canopy is required.

Will the 2700K dimming work with the older rotary dimmer I already have?

The driver dims smoothly from 5% to 100% without flicker or hum on most standard TRIAC dimmers, including many legacy rotary models.
