Portable short-throw projector for meetings

The InFocus IN0046ST is a short-throw DLP business projector rated at 4000 lm and a native 1280 x 800 resolution with 16:10 aspect ratio. Weighing 2.9 kg or 6.4 lb, it suits mobile presenters, desktop use or fixed installs in classrooms and meeting rooms. The 15000-hour lamp life in dynamic mode supports extended daily operation.

Quick setup with short-throw lens

The short-throw lens produces a large image from a short distance, so placement on a table or credenza works without ceiling mounting. Connect sources via two HDMI ports, VGA, USB-A power, RJ-45 or RS-232 and control the unit through Crestron, PJLink, AMX or Extron protocols. Built-in 10 W audio handles small-room sound without external speakers. Filter-free DLP removes routine filter changes.

Check room lighting and source resolution

Verify that 4000 lm matches the ambient light level in your space; brighter rooms may need higher output. Ensure your source can output 1280 x 800 or up to 1920 x 1200 for the best picture. Confirm the throw distance fits your table-to-screen layout and that the 16:10 aspect ratio matches your content format.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the InFocus IN0046ST is projecting a correct 1280 x 800 image after setup?

Display a test pattern at native 1280 x 800 resolution and verify the 16:10 aspect ratio fills the screen without distortion; the 4000 lm brightness and 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio should render crisp text and deep blacks.

What accessories are included with the IN0046ST and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains the projector, simplified user guide, regional power cord, remote control without battery, VGA cable and lens cap; you will need to supply batteries for the remote and any HDMI or USB cables required for your sources.

Which version of the Vista II series should I choose for a short-throw installation needing 4000 lm?

The IN0046ST is the short-throw DLP model delivering 4000 lm at 1280 x 800 native resolution with 15,000-hour lamp life; other Vista II models offer standard-throw lenses or different resolutions such as XGA or Full HD.
