Portable home-theater projector

The InFocus IN112v is a new DLP projector built for living-room movie nights and casual gaming. It delivers 3500 ANSI lumens of brightness and a 17000:1 contrast ratio from a compact chassis. Integrated speakers and multiple mounting options suit table-top or ceiling setups.

Native 800 x 600 resolution

The single specification that defines fit is the native 800 x 600 panel. It accepts 1080p signals but downscales to this grid, so fine text and high-detail textures lose clarity. Buyers who want pixel-perfect 1080p or 4K reproduction should look elsewhere.

Steady brightness under load

DLP technology maintains consistent 3500 ANSI lumen output during long viewing sessions without the brightness decay seen in lamp-based rivals. The 17000:1 contrast holds across extended use, keeping dark scenes legible. Fan noise remains constant rather than ramping up as the unit warms.

Questions about this item

What does 3500 ANSI lumens actually deliver on a living-room screen?

At 3500 ANSI lumens the image stays watchable with some ambient light, though the native 800 x 600 resolution limits detail compared to a 1080p panel.

What does the HDMI 1.4 port allow for 3D and 1080p signals?

HDMI 1.4 accepts Full HD 3D and 1080p sources, but the projector scales everything to its native 800 x 600 resolution.

What mounting options and throw style does this unit support?

It is a medium-throw DLP projector designed for table-top or ceiling mounting and includes rear-projection and tilt adjustment.
