1/8 in FNPT Air Screwdriver

The Ingersoll/Rand 1RTNS1 is a pistol-grip air screwdriver with a 1/4 in quick-change hex drive. It delivers an adjustable shut-off clutch with a torque range from 2.7 to 30.1 in-lb and a free speed of 1000 RPM. The tool requires 90 psi operating pressure and a minimum 1/4 in hose for industrial assembly tasks.

Sustained-load air consumption

Under continuous operation the tool draws 13.0 CFM at full load. During a typical 15 second run cycle the average consumption drops to 3.45 CFM. The compressor and airline must be sized to supply the full-load figure without pressure sag so the shut-off clutch repeats accurately.

Pre-installation checks

Verify that your compressor can maintain 90 psi while delivering at least 13.0 CFM continuously. Confirm the air line uses a minimum 1/4 in internal diameter hose to avoid excessive pressure drop. Ensure the work area can accommodate the 8 1/2 in overall length of the tool.
